"Meg, the chef and owner is one of the loveliest, friendliest, and most knowledgeable chefs I have had the pleasure of meeting at a sushi bar. Her specials are incredible, from her Tempura "fondue" to her W Tower of chopped tuna, mango, and salmon in a sweet sauce. We almost always order straight off of the specials board and ask her to recommend the rest. The flights of sake are always fantastic and the servers are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, taking care to describe each one as they pour. Tomo can be incredibly busy so we tend to go during the week and sit at the bar where we can watch Meg work her magic. Every special occasion is spent there, and coming from a chef that used to live in Tokyo, I think that is a major compliment."     - Mellisa S.
"I love this restaurant for it's unique appetizer menu and dog friendly outdoor patio. Three things I'd recommend here that's different from other sushi restaurants: One, their fish is always super fresh, so much so that the pieces of fish almost melt in your mouth. Two, they have sake tasting, so if you like sake, you'd want to try different varieties for the hell of it. And three, they serve sparking plum wine, which is very light, slightly sweet, and oh so refreshing with sushi!"     - Cindy S.
"Meg is awesome! We always ask for Omakase and she takes great care of us. All the seafood is ALWAYS fresh. And her specials are the reason to go...To be honest, I haven't really had anything off the regular menu, unless it's some Meg adds into out Omakase meal."     - Anita R.
